The resort is made of 2 historical buildings:

la TORRE (12th century tower and adiacent residence) that has been renovated to house 4 exclusive apartments, as well as a shared common space with an outdoor terrace, and common laundry. The tower is perched high on a hill, surrounded by a large terraced garden with children’s playground and fully equipped barbecue area, and covered parking. It overlooks the upper Tiber valley, and all of the apartments have wonderful views to the countryside.


SAINT QUIRICO PARISH CHURCH (11th century abbey with a bell-tower, church and a large terracotta courtyard), that has been renovated to 4 luxury double rooms, 3 Jr.suites, with concierge, restaurant & bar with poolside service. It is surrounded by a large garden with Botanical Gardens and Organic Kitchen Garden; it overlooks the upper Tiber valley, and all rooms have wonderful views to the countryside.

The TORRE and the PIEVE are at 100 m. distance and each of them has its own panoramic terrace, garden and car parking.

Room information

The luxury seven rooms at the ABBEY feature heating, air conditioning, telephone, safe box, coloured sat TV, WIFI access, 18th & 19th century antiques furnishings, wooden beams, terracotta floors. All bathrooms are equipped with all the sanitary ware, included the tub plus the shower (some with hydromassage tub). All beds have bed base with beech wood laminated slats.

The four apartments at The TORRE sleep 2, 4 & 5; they differ in type and dimensions but each of them features full kitchen with dish.washer; the bathrooms are equipped with all the sanitary ware, included the bath with hand shower, or the shower.

They have sat TV, 19th century antiques furnishings, barrel vault ceilings, terracotta floors, Romanesque windows, working fireplace and an independent heating system, telephone, WIFI access, hairdryer, and use of a large common living room with a terrace, children’s playground, fully equipped barbecue area, covered parking, and common laundry.

The single room with bathroom can be rent in addition to one of the apartments, or if one more bed is needed. All beds have bed base with beech wood laminated slats.

Area information

The buildings are located on the 1500-acre Bagnara agricultural estate.

The estate cultivates agricultural crops, roes, hares and the famous Chianina cattle; there is abundant wildlife and areas for walking & biking.

The estate itself is crossed by The Tiber and dotted with small lakes, brooks and mediaeval castles.

In 2008, many path with stop areas for walking and biking through the woods and along the small lakes and the medieval castles, have been made in the upper part of the estate.

Travel information

Le Torri di Bagnara can be easily reached from the main roads. It is 4 km far from the E45 freeway (Orte-Ravenna, exit Resina), which is directly connected to the A1 motorway (Roma-Firenze) and A14 motorway (Bologna-Bari). The international airport of Perugia-Sant'Egidio is only 18 km far.

Thanks to its excellent geographical position, it possible to reach easily all the most interesting places of the region: lake Trasimeno (30 km), Assisi (30 km), Città di Castello (30 km), Gubbio (35 km), Todi (50 km), Spoleto (60 km). You can easily visit also important cities out of Umbria: Ravenna (100 km), Rimini (110 km), Florence (150 km) and Rome (170 km).

Train: Fontivegge Station in Perugia, change at S. Anna Central Railway Station, get out at Solfagnano-Parlesca Station

Airplane: Perugia-S. Egidio international Airport 18 Km

Car: Highway E45 (Orte-Ravenna) to Resina exit, km 87. Follow on state road S.S. Tiberina (going North) to km 89.7. Turn left in the direction of Pieve San Quirico-Bagnara.

Between the TOWER and the ABBEY there is a large private sea salt water panoramic Swimming Pool (about 120 sqm) with a stunning view over the valley and the surrounding hills.
