The hotel’s choice of names for the 4 apartments demonstrates its love and passion for the opera and pays tribute to the great composers of the past: Verdi, Puccini, Mozart and Wagner. ‘Rigoletto’, ‘The Magic Flute’, ‘Parsifal’ and ‘Boheme’ are the 4 stone-walled apartments. All are furnished and decorated in a stylish manner with numerous beautiful and typically Umbrian touches, and are a reflection of the owners’ love for country matters. As well as the facilities listed, all of them have a private patio, chimney and fully-equipped kitchenette.
Food & beverage
The restaurant, which is reserved for guests, is warm and comfortable in winter, and full of light in the summer. With the arrival of Spring, guests can enjoy meals on the terrace full of smartly-set tables.
The restaurant's candlelit dinners, good food and wine, music and wonderful landscape combine to create a magical atmosphere where guests can experience a very special night.
Area information
The hotel is an ideal starting point for visits to the centre of Italy: Orvieto, Todi, Perugia, Assisi and Città della Pieve are just some of the many charming and easily accessible parts of Umbria. Furthermore, you can easily reach Tuscany and visit Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino and the Abbey of Sant’Antimo.
The hills surrounding Il Poggiolo conceal little villages of different ages, which are steeped in the traditions of the past. Here you can find a castle, an abandoned village and an enchanting garden.
You could also pay a visit the vibrant and beautiful city of Rome or Florence.

From the A1 motorway:
- Take the Fabro exit, and turn left after the tollgate.
- Follow the signs to Parrano; after approximately 9 km from the stop sign, you will find hotel’s entrance on your right-hand side.
By Plane:
Fiumicino Airport is approximately 140 km away. On request, the hotel can provide guests with a car and a driver or a rental car.
By Train:
Fabro railway station is 8 km from the hotel and is well connected with Rome and Florence.
