Pools at this 4-star resort have water slides and hydromassage areas. Sunbeds and umbrellas are provided free of charge both here and at an Italgest’s private beach.
You can play football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, table tennis or go bowling at Camping Villaggio Italgest. You can also hire bikes or go trekking on weekends during summer.
Kids have 4 playgrounds, a games and video-games room and in summer there is a children’s club and a nursery.
Practical facilities are readily available at Italgest. There is satellite TV in the bar, an internet point at reception, laundry facilities, a newsagent, a supermarket, a bakery and a restaurant and pizzeria on site.

Hotel information
Entertainment is put on for all the family in July and August. A mini club running in Dutch, English and German is put on in July and August, as is a disco.
Organised tours are available from May onwards.
The swimming pools are open from May 15th to September 30th. Waterslides can be used from July 1st to August 31st and possibly at other times, weather permitting.
Room information
There are 60 bungalows (mobile homes) for 5 or 6 people. Each with 2 bedrooms, living area, shower and toilet, hot water, heating, fully equipped kitchen and private garden (with table, chairs, parasol and sun-bed).
Double bedroom or single bedroom with 2 beds, heating, a small garden fully equipped. Living room with fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom. In the mobile home you will find pillows, bed linen and single wool blankets for each bed.
There are also 3 bungalow-tents for 5 people. Furnished with beds, sink with drinking water, fully equipped cooking corner and private garden (with table, chairs, parasol and sunbed).
Food & beverage
Camping Village Italgest's restaurant is open from 21st March to 30th September each year. The pizzeria is available from 1st April until 31st August. A take-away service is available and use of the village's barbecues is free of charge.
Breakfast is served from 08:00 until10:30.
Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:00.
Dinner is served from 18:00 until 22:00.
The bar is open everyday from 08:00 until 23:00.
Area information
The campsite is situated within the Trasimeno Nature Reserve, on the shores of Lake Trasimeno. It is on the border between Umbria and Tuscany which makes it an excellent base for touring Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio. Rome, Florence, Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto are all within easy reach for a day trip or short excursion.
Within the campsite grounds there are 2 beaches. One of these is reserved for dog owners and has a recently constructed lagoon, filled with fresh water from the lake.
In order to guarantee a peaceful stay for all our guests and to ensure the safety of children, moving around the campsite grounds by car or with any other motor vehicle is not allowed.
Nearby it is possible to go horseriding, play golf (2 different courses available), walking, cycling, sailing and canoeing on the lake.
During the summer season the are many traditional festivals in the surrounding area. Throughout the months of July and August there is a children's activity club and a multi-lingual mini-club.
At the campsite staff aim to work to the highest standards of quality and safety and with the utmost respect for the environment. Staff adhere to the Trasimeno Environmental Code and have attained certification under European Standards (EMAS, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001).
Travel information
By car:
- Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole.
- Exit at Valdichiana.
- Then, from the superstrada to Perugia, exit at Magione.
- Proceed towards Chiusi-Chianciano Terme until you reach Sant'Arcangelo.
By train:
- Arrive at Magione rail station.
- Take a bus to Sant'Arcangelo (bus stop in front of the bar of Sant'Arcangelo)
By plain:
- Arrive at Rome airport (Fiumicino).
- Take a bus to Perugia - Piazza Partigiani.
- Take a bus from here to Sant'Arcangelo (bus stop in front of the bar of Sant'Arcangelo).
By bus:
- Bus to Perugia - Piazza Partigiani.
- From here, take another bus to Sant'Arcangelo (bus stop in front of the bar of Sant'Arcangelo).
Important information
Please note that a deposit of EUR 50 must be paid on arrival. This will be returned at check-out, subject to a damage inspection.
Entertainment and mini clubs are organised in July and August.
